Every Christian can and should be a missionary: this is the author's firm conviction. Of course not everyone has the same mission field; for some it will be the home, the factory, the office, school or college. For others it may be Egypt, Zaire, Luxemburg or Denmark. But all of us are missionaries: as the Father has sent the Son even so has Christ sent us. It is high time we learned His will for us and did it.
This book is the product of actual missionary experience. Cor Bruins and his family served in Egypt from 1955 and from 1965 he served in Lebanon until 1975 when the civil war forced them to leave. Cor Bruins lived with his family in England and while on the one hand he maintained close contact with the Middle East, on the other hand he engaged in teaching ministry in Europe and beyond.
