The author of this helpful commentary on Paul’s Epistle to the Romans writes in his forward, “This letter to the Romans discovers the sin of all mankind, exposes it thoroughly, and discloses that there is righteousness with God, so that God’s wrath is revealed from heaven, allowing no excuse or shadow of justifi cation for sin !
But the same righteousness is revealed in good tidings of grace toward the ungodly, grace which magnifies righteousness in justifying the guilty by means of the full, unmitigated penalty being laid upon the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.”
This verse by verse commentary, while concise and to the point, nevertheless has a depth that most students of God’s Word will appreciate—it should be in the library of every serious Christian, both old and young alike.
