To put the foe to flight.
A threefold cord supplying warmth
Companionship and love –
Blest threefold cord that points men to
The Trinity above!
Card 2:
They that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. Ps. 34:10
You’ve sought the Lord: He’s lit the flame:
A love that will remain the same –
Though trials come, though winters chill,
Your chosen is your first love still.
May God in goodness lead you on
To higher goals to deeper bond,
Until you reach that far-off shore,
At home with Him you both adore!

Our eyes are unto thee, O God the Lord: in thee is our trust. Ps 141:8
May peace, God’s peace, be yours today,
Attend each step along the way,
Breathe softly of the Father’s will
Into your hearts and minds and fill
Your home with joy whatever life
May bring of pleasure or of strife.
Through toil, reward – through all, I pray –
May peace, God’s peace, be yours for aye.

It’s beautiful how God brings two
From varied walks and ways
To join their hearts and hands in love,
In one blest path of praise.
We ask God’s blessing for this day,
And for the days to come:
That God will guide and light your way,
Then lead you safely home.
